1. A serpentine themed display. This active concept mimics the movement of a water snake as it wreaths through water.

2. The upper tier basin is made up of a series of segmented buoyant panels that are individually connected to flexible pivot points located underneath each panel. The panels are mounted 6 millimeters below water level and will see-saw at right angles to the centerline of the basin, controlled by submerged water jets thrusting to the center point on each underside panel half. The water jets will be flow controlled to allow variable patterns to be projected along the entire length of panels. The most significant pattern will be giving the impression of a snake slithering through water.

3. The upper tier basin will over flow along it perimeter down to bottom tier basin. A surge overflow pattern will be prevalent along the length of the upper tier wall as a result of the submerged variable flow nozzles and the see-saw wave patterns created by the moving panels.

4. The panels will be made of translucent cast resin panels that will be tinted with variations of the base colour. As a result, the panels will naturally buoyant and transmit submerged light. The panels will be weighted, balanced and individually tested to ensure that they will dynamically perform to specification.

5. Both upper and lower basins will be lighted by submerged white lighting.

6. The lower tier basin will have a seat-wall all the way around the perimeter. The lower basin will contain ten concealed laminar nozzles that will project arching laminar streams up and over the upper tier basin back down into the opposite side of the lower basin. The laminar streams will be sequencing to allow for animated leaping effects to occur in relation to panel movements. The laminar streams are individually lit with white light sources that are mounted in line and behind the origin points.
